Project

At Radhe Karunamayi Trust, we are deeply committed to ensuring that elderly residents—especially those who are terminally ill or bedridden—receive the care, dignity, and compassion they deserve in the final stages of their lives. This project is designed to provide holistic, 24x7 support to such individuals in a peaceful, spiritually nourishing environment.

  • Round-the-clock Care by Trained Caretakers:
A dedicated team of trained caregivers is available 24/7 to provide physical and emotional care to bedridden and terminally ill individuals. They are skilled in palliative care practices, helping manage pain, assisting with daily needs like feeding and bathing, and offering companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.

  • Active Ageing Programs for Emotional and Spiritual Wellbeing:
We conduct regular sessions of yoga, meditation, and devotional singing (kirtans) to support mental peace and spiritual upliftment. Cultural and entertainment activities are also organized to bring joy, social bonding, and a sense of purpose among residents.

  • Nutritious Meals Tailored to Health Needs:
Each resident receives freshly prepared meals that are tailored to their health conditions. Special attention is given to providing seasonal fruits, fresh milk, and a balanced diet to improve immunity, manage chronic conditions, and ensure strength and vitality.

  • Daily Supplies and Personal Hygiene Support:
Residents are given clean and appropriate clothing such as sarees, blouses, petticoats, towels, bedsheets, and blankets. Essential personal care items like bathing soap, shampoo, hair oil, toothpaste, moisturiser, detergent, and mosquito repellents are regularly provided to maintain hygiene and comfort.

  • Health Monitoring and Medication:
We ensure regular health checkups and vital monitoring for chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, and age-related ailments. Medications are provided as per prescriptions, and the health of each resident is closely tracked to ensure timely intervention if needed.

This project is not just about care—it’s about creating a sacred space where the elderly feel valued, protected, and loved. With your support, we can expand this initiative to reach more people in need and give them the peaceful, dignified life they truly deserve.
